If you are too ill to attend the surgery and need a home visit, Please telephone between as soon as possible from 8am to triage and book into appropriate slots. Please try to ring no later than 10:30am.
You may be asked by one of our trained receptionists for some information about your problem. This will be treated as confidential and allows the doctor to judge the urgency of the call. It helps the doctor to help you if he can examine you in a quiet room with radio and television turned off. The doctor may want to wash his hands after examining you; it is helpful if a clean towel is provided.
Please try to come to the surgery whenever possible. The doctors can examine and treat you more effectively there than at your home; also you are likely to be seen more quickly.
