Appointments

calendarMost  surgeries  are by  appointment,  morning and evening.  You can make an appointment at the surgery by telephone (01761-412141), during the surgery opening  hours  shown.  Please help us by telephoning as early as possible and being flexible with your appointment time.

If you have 2 or 3 problems to discuss, please ask for a 20 minute appointment.  Always make a separate appointment for each member of  the family. We try to work to time – please be patient if we are delayed.

You are welcome to see any of the doctors, not just the one with whom you are registered. We prefer you, however, to get to know one of us as this helps us to give you better continuity of care.  If the problem is urgent and your own doctor is unavailable because he or she is fully booked or away on a course or holiday, the receptionist will arrange the earliest convenient appointment with the doctor of your choice.

Several appointments are saved each evening for emergencies. Please only ask for these if your problem is really MEDICALLY URGENT and cannot wait for Open Surgery next morning.

Why is my doctor always running late?

Open Surgery is for any ONE problem. If you have a list of several problems please book a routine longer appointment.

IF YOU CANNOT KEEP YOUR APPOINTMENT, PLEASE LET US KNOW SO IT CAN BE USED FOR ANOTHER PATIENT
